The Student Budget Committee (SBC) consists of 7 members. Every week, the SBC meets with and allocates funds to officially recognized student groups. The SBC's mission is to foster a high-quality extracurricular environment and inclusive sense of community at Wesleyan by assisting student groups with funding.
Student groups that would like to request funding from the SBC must be registered as an official, active student group by the WSA’s Community Committee (CoCo) and must designate a financial contact . Both of these can be done through WesNest.
For more information about the Office of Student Involvement go to their website.
If you feel strongly that the SBC is acting unfairly, you may reach out to Equity and Inclusion liaison Saakshi Challa (Schalla@wesleyan.edu) for support.
